Traditionally, a dance solo is the job of one person. In I MIGHT ALSO DISAPPEAR FOR A WHILE, three dancers share a solo. One dances while the others watch, always ready to replace the soloist. So they slip into each other's skin or dance, copy, steal, continue. The audience experiences how one character develops from the other, how the dancers disappear into each other and live on in the movements and gestures of the others, how they could not exist without the work of the others and yet remain individuals.
